Please be aware that only Orthodox Christians are allowed to partake of the Eucharist and other sacraments according to the ancient canons, but others are welcome to receive a blessing. Coffee hour follows the Divine Liturgy every Sunday. Vespers (evening prayer) are served every Saturday and on the eve of feast days at 6:00 PM. Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow will be hosting a free lecture on “Iconography, Art, and Faith” on Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 PM. Our guest lecturer will be Hieromonk Silouan from the Monastery of Saint Dionysios the Areopagite (ROCOR) in Saint James, NY. Father Silouan obtained an MFA in painting from Hunter College, CUNY, and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY, and is also an editor and contributor to the Orthodox Arts Journal.

Refreshments will be served after the lecture. The church is located at 369 Green Avenue, East Meadow.
