When was the last time you tested your water?&nbsp;
UConn Extension, in partnership with the New Canaan Conservation Commission, is offering reduced-cost well water testing for residents of Fairfield County and surrounding areas. <a href="https://www.ctpublic.org/news/2024-07-18/rural-towns-in-ct-arent-testing-their-well-water-enough-this-program-is-trying-to-change-that" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Even if your water looks and tastes fine, it may not be safe to drink.</a>
A comprehensive well water test, normally valued at $350, is available for $235 (cash or check). Tests include coliform bacteria, lead, arsenic, uranium, nitrates, sodium, chloride, fluoride, pH, hardness, sulfate, turbidity, iron, and manganese.

Participants who register in advance will receive a sample kit by mail. Limited supplies will also be available at the event.

The KEYS&nbsp;Trio is a dynamic ensemble that includes piano, cello and violin played respectively by Jenny Ong, Madeleine Corliss and Corinne Metter. All the players in the group are on the faculty of the KEYS music program in Bridgeport and all have varied and rich performance careers.<a href="https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83898278015?pwd=dzb5ppkJndrp9usqrp9hynmUVkQxfo.1" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"></a>
The upcoming performance is a fundraiser for KEYS and will be the 5th concert for this group at the church.The program will include music by Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Delibes and some surprises, as well.The funds from the concert will be used to continue KEYS' vision to transform the lives of underserved children through music education. KEYS programs include one-to-one instrument and group lessons in Bridgeport taught by a faculty of over 30 music educators in 24 Bridgeport schools. Students learn life skills, such as preparation, patience, collaboration, and respect through the discipline of learning music and participation in ensembles. All in-school, after-school, and weekend lessons, lesson space, and instruments are provided free of charge to students.Suggested donation $20. For more information, call Rob Silvan (203) 610-1597.
