Volunteers Needed -- The Governor Sprague Mansion is hosting an annual Spring Clean Up and Grounds Beautification Day on SATURDAY, APRIL 18 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at 1351 Cranston St. (If it rains, it is cancelled.)What to Wear:Outside Work Attire 

What to Bring:Gloves, rakes, weedwackers, leaf bags--if possible. If you can bring along a chain saw/leaf blower ~ that is appreciated!
Do you need Community Service Hours? Register &amp; bring proper form with you.
Perhaps you can help volunteer for one of several projects in 2026.

April 26 1 to 3pm American Girl Doll Afternoon Tea.&nbsp; Cranston Historical Society invites you to their fund raising event: American Girl Doll Tea at the historic Governor Sprague Mansion, grand ballroom. Our host is Kirsten Lawson, mid-1850s.Kirsten is a Swedish immigrant of strength and spirit, who traveled with her family to Minnesota. The event is perfect for children and adults.Young folks can bring an American Girl Doll or favorite doll along with an adult--or borrow one of our dolls. Limited seating. Tickets: $22 per person. Reservations Only by April 20: (401) 944-9226. Checks payable to Cranston Historical Society, ATT: Tea 1351 Cranston St., Cranston 02920. There will be a raffle and a chance for you to win your own American Girl Doll. Accessible/parking in back. Sorry we cannot accommodate food sensitivities.
