Matthew DaCorte, Neighbor

I was born and raised in Branford, and attended the University of Rhode Island from 2007-2011, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. I’ve been working for Holiday Retirement for about a year. Formerly a cook at The Gables at Guilford, I am now an administrative and marketing assistant at The Lodge at Cold Spring in Rocky Hill. Having worked with senior citizens since the end of my college career, it is now my goal to spread the word on just how great retirement living can be. Many people often confuse independent retirement living communities with assisted living communities, and it is my hope that I can help show the difference between the two, and also to show just how much fun the independent living retirement lifestyle can be.
