In a culture that moves quickly and prizes resilience as the absence of pain, many of us have learned to carry our losses quietly, tucking them into the edges of daily life. Over time, unwitnessed grief doesn't simply fade. It settles into the body, shapes our nervous system, and influences how we relate to ourselves and to the people around us.
This retreat offers something different. A day to pause, to understand, to be gently held by practices that speak to your entire being-your body, your mind, your heart, and your spirit. When grief is witnessed...... when it is gently moved through the body and tended within safe community — neuroscience shows us that the nervous system begins to shift. The chronic activation of stress responses softens. New neural pathways open. What felt frozen begins, slowly, to move....here our grief can begin to take shape and meaning.
Ancient healing traditions understood this long before modern research confirmed it. We do not heal in isolation. We heal in relationship with ourselves, with our bodies, witnessing one another, and with something larger than our individual stories.
This day weaves together somatic practice, sound medicine, creative expression, neuroscience, ancestral ritual wisdom, and the quiet power of compassionate community...offering multiple pathways so you can follow what feels most nourishing and true for you.
