Memorial Tabernacle Church is a Christian, Bible-based, Mission-driven church in Oakland, CA and established in 1925. MTC focuses on developing the whole person – spiritually, mentally and physically. Effective programming at MTC is called ministries as we tap into a person’s born abilities to elevate the awareness of the needs of our Church and community. Through the collective impact of our Outreach Ministries (including Mission Saturday, the Garden of Joy Community Garden, and the Mental Health Ministry) and partnerships with local businesses and organizations, MTC believes in building true community with a simple method of reaching one person and one block at a time.
