Stevey Jones is the heart behind the Mr. Stevey & Friends program. As a teaching artist with a background in journalism and physical education, his work is deeply personal, rooted in his own experiences within the foster care system. Since 2021, he has brought high-quality art education, early literacy, and mindful play to historically excluded communities. His debut book is an invitation to join this beautiful journey of resilience, ensuring every child — no matter their background — has the tools to thrive through art, literacy and mindful play.
