Mike Schmidt, Neighbor

I currently work in the publishing industry and am a former newspaper prep sports reporter. A native of Waukesha, I am a graduate of Waukesha Catholic Memorial. I studied print journalism at UW-Whitewater, and I have been a professional writer since 2004. I live in Fort Atkinson with my wife, Kyla. 

 Simply stated, I write because I enjoy sharing the stories that need to be shared. Whether it's a breaking news story, a profile of a local citizen, or  a sports roundup, I enjoy reporting local news and connecting with members of a community.
