For 25 years, Wacoal’s partnership with Komen has helped ensure individuals facing breast cancer have access to critical education, resources, and support. One hundred percent of Wacoal’s donation supports Komen’s direct patient services, including the Patient Care Center, which provides access to breast health services, financial assistance, clinical trial information, and education.

On April 25, pianist-composer Michael Stephen Brown returns to Music@Menlo with an all-star ensemble. The program opens with his vibrant new work, The Carnival of Endangered Wonders, bringing 13 rare animals to life through colorful, imaginative music. Symphony San José Chorale and Symphony San José under the direction of Elena Sharkova present a program of choral-orchestral music featuring works from Arvo Pärt, Jake Runestad and Caroline Shaw. 
About This Performance: Experience an evening of luminous choral music with the Symphony San Jose Chorale at the gorgeous Mission Santa Clara on the campus of Santa Clara University. (On-site parking available.) Arvo Pärt’s spellbinding Salve Regina unfolds with quiet reverence and meditative beauty. Works by Jake Runestad evoke the tenderness of the human condition. Closing the program is Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw’s "and the swallow", which brings vivid poetry to life with shimmering textures and playful intimacy.&nbsp;

Participate in an interactive workshop where we will showcase our Renewable Energies and EV's basics student curriculum.
Acterra’s Youth Education Program offers free teacher training workshops designed to be engaging and interactive. This year, we’ll be closing out Earth Month with a solutions-focused, hands-on curriculum exploring renewable energy and electric vehicles (EVs).
During the workshop, educators will explore climate change fundamentals, learn about the benefits of Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEVs), and engage in interactive activities they can bring directly into their classrooms. The goal is to equip teachers with tools and confidence to help students understand clean energy solutions and consider choosing a ZEV as their first car when possible.
