Tai Chi classes
Tai Chi classes are held on Tuesdays, 9am-10am. ​This is a true beginner class that will explore Tai Chi fundamentals and theories and learn Wudang Tai Chi 28 movements.
Some of the benefits of Tai Chi:
<ul><li>Promotes relaxation and good health</li><li>Improves balance and flexibility</li><li>Relieves stress and fatigue</li><li>Strengthens body and mind</li></ul>

Qigong classes
Qigong classes are held on Tuesdays, 10am-11am. ​Teacher-guided breathing exercises to optimize “Qi” circulation to regulate your mind and body’s movement and posture – providing a sense of joy and calm. Qigong is an old, developing discipline that combines breathing exercises, movement, self-massage, gong meditation, and healing postures to provide a comprehensive approach to self-healing exercise and meditation.
Is this for you? Whether you are new to Qigong, or have previous experience, you will enjoy this one-hour meditative exercise. Some of the benefits of Qigong:
<ul><li>Promotes relaxation and good health</li><li>Improves balance and flexibility</li><li>Relieves stress and fatigue</li><li>Strengthens body and mind</li></ul>
What’s the difference between Qigong and Tai Chi? Both Tai Chi and Qigong are great forms of health and healing, but:
<ul><li>Qigong is easy to learn, and it can be practiced at home regularly, while Tai Chi requires memorization of movements in sequence</li><li>There are infinite numbers of Qigong styles that suit everyone’s level, while Tai Chi movements can be longer and more challenging</li><li>Qigong exercises can be practiced while sitting, standing, or lying down, while Tai Chi is a continuous and moving meditation</li></ul>

Caterpillars Up Close! The Tale of the Denki Mushi **FREE EVENT**

In these turbulent times, many of us could use some self-care. Did you know that sound has the power to shift your nervous system from stress to deep relaxation? When you experience a sound bath, your brainwaves slow down, your body releases tension, and you enter a state of healing.
Sound Healing, also known as Vibrational Healing, is a form of non-invasive alternative healing similar to yoga and acupuncture. Endorsed by such disparate figures as the Buddha, Einstein, and Medical Oncologist Mitchell Gaynor M.D., Sound Healing is a deeply effective way to release stress from the body/mind, thus restoring the immune system. 
Join us for this voyage into the bliss, wellness, and healing that can come from profound relaxation via deeply therapeutic sound and tone. The session will be facilitated by sound therapist Joe Hayes. Plan to sit in one of the chairs, or bring a yoga mat and blanket and stretch out on the floor of the sanctuary. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a blanket/pillow if you'd like for your own comfort and warmth.
