Zac Gebhardt, Neighbor

Most recently, Zac took over as the Head Coach for both the Moon Area Varsity & Middle School swim teams in 2012. Zac joined Moon Aqua Club as Head Coach in 2010, and before taking on the challenge of Head Coach he was a volunteer assistant coach at Westminster College. While coaching at Westminster he trained 12 NCAA qualifiers & three went on to the NCAA Championship. Before coaching at Westminster, Zac attended the college completing his major in Business Administration and received his Bachelor of Science degree. While at Westminster he swam for three and a half seasons, earning three varsity letters. Zac held the record for Westminster’s 1650 freestyle from 2009-2010. Zac also attended West Virginia University for one semester where he qualified for the Big East Conference Championship in the 1650 freestyle. During his high school career at Gateway School District Zac swam four years on the varsity swim team and earned a varsity letter each year. Zac qualified for WPIAL’s all four years & PIAA’s his junior and senior year. Zac held the 200 medley relay record from 2005-2010 and went undefeated in the 500 freestyle his senior year in dual meet season. Currently, Zac is the Head Coach for the Moon Area varsity swim team and is one the assistant Zones coaches for Allegheny Mountain Swimming.
