Mortenveld Productions exists to serve our community through three core pillars: our local news program, award winning short films, and our intern training program. Together, these pillars reflect who we are and why we exist.

Through Real Good News, we tell non divisive local stories that celebrate the people, small businesses, nonprofits, and everyday leaders in our community. Through our short films, we create intelligent, character driven stories that compete on the festival stage and aim for artistic excellence. Through our intern program, we train and mentor the next generation of creators, giving students real world production experience and leadership opportunities.

Our work highlights women as leaders, creators, problem solvers, and decision makers both on screen and behind the camera. We seek intelligent stories that reflect strength, intelligence, and agency rather than dependence or stereotype.
