Plymouth-Canton Community Literacy Council, Neighbor

Plymouth-Canton Community Literacy Council is a volunteer, non-profit organization that provides free tutors to adults in western Wayne County with literacy skills below 9th grade level. The majority of our students have relocated to our area from other countries and are learning English as a second language (ESL). We have a growing demand for tutors in our community and welcome new tutors and students to contact us.

We are always seeking dedicated adults to volunteer as tutors. CLC provides 12 hours of training before tutors are matched with a student of their choice, or assist in ESL conversation groups or classes. Please call 734-589-0011 or visit the CLC website to sign up for training.
