Free for family caregivers. Continuing education credit available for nurses, social workers, case managers, and assisted living/nursing home administrators.
Topics include understanding Alzheimer's treatment options, managing dementia-related behaviors, Medicaid and Medicare planning, VA and NJ veteran benefits, legal planning (powers of attorney, guardianship), and a panel on preventing and delaying dementia through exercise, diet, and social engagement.
