We want to share an update to the program for Southampton Hospital Foundation's 6th Annual East Hampton Emergency Department Luncheon on Thursday, July 9. 
Award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and Co-founder of Katie Couric Media, Katie Couric, will moderate a special conversation with internationally renowned model and Founder and President of Every Mother Counts, Christy Turlington Burns, in place of Brooke Shields. 
The luncheon will take place as scheduled at Maidstone Club in East Hampton. Co-chaired by Jill Davis, Kate Davis, Kristin Douglass, Hollis Forbes, Liz Lange, and Mary Margaret Trousdale, the event benefits the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, helping advance access to high-quality emergency care on the East End. 
Registration opens at 10:30 a.m. The presentation begins promptly at 11:00 a.m.
Tables of ten range from $5,000 to $20,000, while individual tickets start at $500. Held beneath elegantly lit tents on Wickapogue Road, the evening brings together the East End community for live music by The Frank Simmons Band, elevated cuisine, and dancing in support of exceptional healthcare.
Proceeds benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, advancing innovative programs, leading-edge technology, and compassionate, high-quality care close to home.

The Southampton Hospital Foundation Presents The 68th Annual Summer Party

Set against the iconic fairways of Maidstone Club, the Southampton Hospital Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing offers a premier day at one of the nation’s most celebrated courses.
Consistently ranked among Golf Digest’s “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses,” Maidstone is one of the country’s earliest links-style courses and among its first golf residential communities. Rich in history, tradition, and seaside beauty, it offers a truly distinctive setting for the day.
The day begins with registration at 11:00 a.m., along with access to the driving range and putting green. Guests will enjoy lunch on the Ocean Terrace from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on the West Course. The outing concludes with an Awards Cocktail Party.
Proceeds from the event support Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, helping to advance access to exceptional, high-quality care across the East End.

East End Jazz Launches "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew": Free Interactive Family Jazz Concert at Madoo Gardens
SAGAPONACK, NY — Non-profit organization East End Jazz presents "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew" on Saturday, July 11th, at Madoo Gardens in Sagaponack. Offering two morning sets at 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM, this unique, multi-generational concert bridges the gap between playtime and world-class live jazz for audiences aged 1 to 99. Admission is free, with RSVP required.
The 60-minute interactive program transforms childhood favorites like "Old MacDonald" and "The Wheels on the Bus" into sophisticated, high-energy jazz arrangements, seamlessly blending nursery rhymes with 1940s bebop and the Great American Songbook. Led by bassist, bandleader, and East End Jazz Director Iris Ornig, the five-piece band of elite professional musicians gets families and jazz enthusiasts off their screens and into the rhythm section through feeling the beat, scat-singing, call-and-response patterns, and dancing.
"We wanted to create a space where the next generation doesn't just listen to music, but feels it," says Iris Ornig, Director of East End Jazz. "By pairing familiar melodies with sophisticated arrangements, we’re inviting families and jazz lovers alike to bring out their inner child and share in the spontaneous joy of this art form."
The Jazz Crew features: Lauren Lee (Vocals), Taka Otomo (Piano), John Ludlow (Saxophone), Iris Ornig (Bass), and Brian Woodruff (Drums).
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, East End Jazz strives to keep its flagship family programming free and accessible. Thanks to the support of Madoo Gardens and the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning, admission to "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew" is FREE. While entry is free, donations are greatly appreciated to help sustain future community initiatives.

The 5th Annual Springs Garden Party returns on Saturday, July 11, for an elegant summer evening benefiting the Springs Food Pantry. Held in the beautiful gardens of hosts Greg McCarthy and Peter Bickford, guests will enjoy cocktails, seasonal hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a lively auction and raffle—all in support of nearly 400 local families served each week by the Pantry. This year’s event will also celebrate the Pantry’s farming partners: Amber Waves, Balsam Farms, Quail Hill Farm, and Share the Harvest Farm.

One of the Hamptons’ most anticipated summer traditions returns to Water Mill on July 25 in support of LGBTQIA+ youth. The annual “SCHOOL’S OUT” cocktail party raises money to ensure that Hetrick-Martin Institute's young people have the resources they need through the summer months when schools are closed, and resources are scarce. Cocktails are 5:30pm - 7:30pm followed by our VIP ‘Taste of the Hamptons’ Dinner plus an exclusive performance by event co-chair Crystal Waters. The event has drawn an influential and engaged crowd, with past hosts and attendees including Martha Stewart, Andy Cohen, Rufus Wainwright, Tamron Hall, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Thom Filicia, Darren Star, Antoni Porowski, and Candace Bushnell, among others. Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) is the nation’s oldest LGBTQIA+ youth organization serving queer and trans youth, primarily of color, between the ages of 13 and 24.
