Join us&nbsp; on Saturday, September 26th from 9am to 4pm for the 2nd Annual Salute to Firefighters Festival benefiting the Widows, Orphans, &amp; Disabled Firefighter’s Fund. 15+ LAFD fire stations will compete head-to-head in a firehouse cook-off. And you'll have the opportunity to try it! This event also features a classic car show, live music, beer garden, firefighting demonstrations, and family activities. Admission is FREE. Tasting passes are available (and encouraged) ahead of the event. Brentwood Presbyterian Church

Please join us Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 p.m., for another free matinee concert presented by Chamber Music Palisades (CMP), featuring music by Bizet, Ibert, Fernandez, Joplin, and others. The concert will also present a piece by local composer Adrienne Albert.
Talented performers for this lovely afternoon of music are CMP co-founder/artistic director Susan Greenberg, (flute), Zack Borowiec (Oboe), Arthur Naito (Clarinet), and Christin Phelps Webb (Bassoon). Check out our website at cmpalisades.org for more details of the program.
This free performance will be held at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, 12000 San Vicente Boulevard, Los Angeles 90049. Reservations are not needed. The concert is sponsored in part by the Department of Cultural Affairs, City of Los Angeles. Free parking is available in the church lot just north of Montana Avenue on the east side of Bundy.

Travel through three decades of timeless hits as SFVMC singers, soloists, and special guests bring to life the songs that defined a generation. You’ll hear chart-topping classics, beloved TV theme songs, unforgettable anthems by The Beach Boys, ABBA, Madonna, Queen, Journey, and lots more! 
**SPECIAL GUESTS** Members of the iconic Strawberry Alarm Clock, whose psychedelic hit “Incense and Peppermints” became a defining sound of the Summer of Love! 
We’ll also be joined by our sister organization, the San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus, along with amazing soloists and friends of SFVMC.
