Oded Kariti is a researcher, scientist, scholar and educator with wide research interests. Born in San Diego in 1975 and moved to New York where he completes his education. After graduation, Kariti joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology and where works as an assistant professor in the following 10 years. Participating in many scientific discussions and public presentations, he has worked on and written about 50 scientific research projects.

Some of his notable works are:

- Flue-gas and direct-air capture of CO2 by porous metal-organic materials;

- Dielectrically-Loaded Cylindrical Resonator-Based Wireless Passive High-Temperature Sensor;

- Solution-based electrical doping of semiconducting polymer films over a limited depth;

- Correlation of dielectric, electrical and magnetic properties near the magnetic phase transition temperature of cobalt zinc ferrite;

- Polymeric memory elements and logic circuits that store multiple bit states.
