One World Soccer Fest raises funds for two organizations that use soccer to empower kids and adults to take charge of their lives. The Chisomo Idea is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) organization that operates in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. The Homeless World Cup is a nonprofit organization in Edinburgh Scotland that works with partner organizations around the world to help people make positive changes in their lives. Its American partner is Street Soccer USA. The Homeless World cup also holds an annual "World Cup" tournament, on a different continent each year, among teams from all of its partners.
