Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill: The Musical is an exhilarating new musical inspired by the themes and raw emotions laid bare in Alanis Morissette’s seminal album of the same name. The Healys appear to be a picture-perfect suburban family – but looks can be deceiving. When the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the status quo or facing harsh truths about themselves, their community and the world around them. Mary Jane Healy is a high-achieving homemaker who will do anything for her family, including their adopted African American daughter Frankie, who is struggling to find her place in their lily-white community. But when the Healys’ lives begin to unravel, Mary Jane’s drive to keep her family together threatens to break them apart. **WARNING** This show is for mature audience members 12 and up and adult audience members only. The six sections of the work are represented by the following concepts: Anticipation, Jubilation, Exhalation, Preparation, Revelation and Improvisation. The themes were derived from a series of interviews based on each individual’s own perspective on spring, summer, autumn and winter. Although the common ecological view of the seasons was a thread connecting the conversations, the interviews revealed contrasting ideas about the four seasons based on the individuals’; experience, reflections and wisdom. “Seasons” is a visual and musical interpretation of the human experience based on these in-depth interviews, joined together in a collection of captivating short dances.

Lock House Museum

Join us on a joint walk with the Harford Bird Club during the mid-spring migration season to see some of the park’s resident and migratory birds. Northern cardinal, blue-gray gnatcatcher, tree swallow, great-blue heron and orioles may be seen.
Walk is free, no registration is required. We will begin at the parking lot at the Lock House Museum at 817 Conesteo Street. The trails may be muddy so proper footwear is recommended. Hikes will last 1.5-2 hours. Bring binoculars to get the best views of the birds.

Clean Bin Project – Free Environmental Film Screening

Elevate your performance game with our Musical Theatre Dance Intensive, led by local artist, Katelyn O’Connor! This high-energy workshop dives deep into the diverse world of Broadway movement. Throughout the workshop, students will master combinations across musical theatre and jazz styles. Rather than just learning steps, dancers will workshop movement and techniques to sharpen their muscle memory and improve their ability to recall and retain choreography in an audition setting. Katelyn O’Connor is a musical theater performer, choreographer, and dance educator with a strong background in performance-driven storytelling and audition preparation. She most recently appeared in the Baltimore Theatre scene as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, and has worked at the Havre de Grace Opera House alongside Broadway legend directors Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll &amp; Hyde) and Michael Hollick (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as a featured dancer in both productions. She holds a BA in Dance from UMBC, where she was a full scholarship recipient through the prestigious Linehan Artist Scholarship. Her earlier training includes study with Emmy nominated Danielle Sten and Lance Guillermo, as well as Karen Muccioli, Samantha Hewes, and more at The Rage Box. As a choreographer and faculty member, she has worked with Streetlamp Productions, Dundalk Community Theatre, Havre de Grace Opera House, Tidewater Players, and other regional organizations, bringing professional industry insight and high-performance standards into the classroom. She is excited to share her experience while continuing her own work as a performing artist!

Step into the golden age of Las Vegas for an unforgettable experience celebrating the 60th anniversary of one of the most legendary live albums ever recorded. Join powerhouse vocalist Chris Pinnella as he returns to The STAR with his 14-Piece Big Band in a thrilling, start-to-finish performance of Frank Sinatra’s iconic album, Sinatra at the Sands. Originally recorded live at the Sands Hotel with the Count Basie Orchestra, this album captured Sinatra at the absolute height of his powers—and now, six decades later, it comes roaring back to life on stage. From the swinging swagger of “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Come Fly With Me” to the irresistible drive of “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” every moment of the album is faithfully recreated.
