Patrick Williams, Neighbor

Patrick Williams has been managing investor assets since 1983. In 2007, he founded Williams Group, LLC. to provide a comprehensive customized approach to individual investors and corporations who wanted to take advantage of his experience and investment methodology focusing in the area of Wealth management and Retirement Plan consulting.

With more than 25 years of experience, Patrick Williams has managed through six cycles of up and down markets. His goal in managing any portfolio is to minimize downside exposure preserving capital; while maximizing the risk adjusted returns for investors who seek grow their investments.

Patrick began his career in 1983 as a financial consultant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Patrick subsequently founded Williams Group, Inc. in 1985 focusing on Asset Management/Qualified Plan Consulting; he served as president for seventeen years. In 2002, he was a founding principal of KNW Group, LLC., a full service financial organization which was later acquired by National Financial Partners in 2004. In 2007 he returned to his entrepreneurial roots to found the Williams Group, LLC., his emphasis solely on Asset Management and Qualified Plan Consulting.

Patrick’s financial services career has included a variety of responsibilities as a financial planner, retirement plan specialist and seminar speaker on investing and retirement. Patrick has assisted his clients with all areas of personal income planning, investment management and retirement income planning. 

Mr. Williams earned his B.A. from University of Minnesota. Mr. Williams is an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) licensed in the Minnesota. He is married and has two children. He is a member of Hopkins Rotary, volunteer’s his time to various charities, and is a coach in the Upper Midwest High School Elite Hockey program.
