TEMECULA, CA— Families and student-athletes across the region are invited to experience a unique approach to education and athletics at Rancho Christian School’s upcoming Sports Academy Preview Day, taking place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, on the Rancho Way campus.


 "The Sports Academy Preview Day serves as an important opportunity for families to explore whether Rancho Christian is the right fit for their student-athlete’s future," a school spokesperson said.


 This event offers prospective students and families an inside look at the Rancho Christian Sports Academy, a college-preparatory program designed specifically for student-athletes seeking excellence in both the classroom and competition.


 Attendees will have the opportunity to:

<ul>
 <li>Meet coaches, administrators, and admissions representatives</li>
 <li>Tour Rancho Christian’s campus and athletic facilities</li>
 <li>Learn about the academy’s integrated academic and athletic model</li>
 <li>Ask questions and explore enrollment opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year</li>
</ul>

 The Rancho Christian Sports Academy is built on a foundation of faith-based education, high-level athletic development, and personalized academic support, equipping students to become University Ready and Life Ready, according to a recent news release. With a focus on developing the whole student, the program emphasizes character, discipline, and Christ-centered leadership alongside competitive athletic training.


 Athletic Director Waheed Mitchell spoke on the why behind the sports academy.


 “The Rancho Christian Sports Academy is about developing the complete student-athlete,” Mitchell said. “We are committed to creating an environment where students can pursue excellence in their sport while receiving a Christ-centered education that prepares them for college and for life. This Preview Day is a great opportunity for families to see that vision firsthand.”


 Students who attend as part of the Preview Day event will receive a $100 application fee waiver for attending families, according to the news release.
