Please join survivor Karla Pirylis in a confidential monthly group discussion to help uplift, validate, and empower female survivors of childhood sexual abuse. No one understands the healing journey as well as another survivor. Finding the courage to break the silence and start your journey to healing from childhood sexual abuse is not easy. Get ready to emerge from the darkness to find your light again.
This workshop is free and open to the public, however donations to Pillars of Light and Love are always accepted and appreciated if your budget allows.

Adult Female Survivors of Sexual Abuse Support Group

We laugh, we may cry, we talk, we reminisce with others who understand exactly how we feel to no longer have our moms with us. A bond between a Mother and Daughter is like no other and should be honored, even after our Mothers are gone. This group will be led by our Founder, Kathy Opperman, and is for women whose Mothers are no longer with them. We will share stories of love, coping, struggles, guilt, regret and learning to move forward without one of the dearest persons in our life. Kathy's mom passed in April of 2018 and she was inspired to start this group because of the many women who reached out to her with support.

Men Rising is a confidential, judgment-free healing circle for adult male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Many men carry their trauma alone for decades, believing they have to silence their pain, “be strong,” or figure it all out themselves. This group exists to break that isolation.
Here, you’ll find a safe and supportive space to share your experiences at your pace, learn grounding and resilience-building tools, and connect with other men who understand the complexity of surviving childhood abuse. This group is not about reliving the past. It’s about rising from it.

Is your life being affected by someone's addiction? This workshop is designed to help parents, significant others, family members and/or friends learn how to reach out for help, develop coping strategies and detach with love if necessary. During this time group support will be encouraged to help one another make changes that are necessary for healing. Boundary setting and enabling are two major behaviors that will be addressed. Discussions will focus on how being around loved ones with addictions affects oneself emotionally, physically and spiritually. Learning how to improve unhealthy relationships is a starting point to helping oneself and your loved one.

Our estate sale services are structured around a clear, straightforward process that provides peace-of-mind and ease of execution. Here are the current five easy steps we follow to ensure a successful estate sale:
1. Cataloging On-Site: Our Estate Sales Team sorts, describes & photographs your home contents into an online auction catalog.

3. Selling/Online Auction: The auction is open for online bidding 10-14 days prior to closing, which boosts competitive bidding and leads to the highest fair market value for your personal property.
4. Supervised Pick-up: After the auction closes, we supervise and assist buyers on Pick-up Day in order to minimize foot traffic through your home.
5. Consigner Payment: 21 business days following the auction, we will send you a check of your auction proceeds.
