PopUp Plaza, Neighbor

Liberty Bell Plaza has transformed into Popup Plaza to showcase a variety of local up-and-coming retailers in the heart of Downtown Walnut Creek. Pop Up Plaza gives retailers the opportunity to take advantage of the millions of East Bay residents and shoppers that frequent this active, pedestrian-friendly environment on the corner of Mount Diablo Boulevard and North Broadway in Downtown Walnut Creek. Popup Plaza consists of a total of six kiosks or carts (also referred to as popups) immediately adjacent to popular retail destinations such as Olympia Place, Plaza Escuela, and Broadway Plaza. Nearby retailers include Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Tiffany, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, H&M, and Il Fornaio.

Popups serve as a temporary space that provides retailers with the opportunity to explore the current market, build interest with new customer exposure, and generate a buzz around their products and designs without the all the overhead that usually comes with leasing a retail space.
