Nick Stella was raised in Darien IL, graduated from Illinois Benedictine University in Lisle and then proceeded to receive his M.D. in 1995 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. After residency training at Loyola University he stayed to complete his Fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. There he was named both Cardiology Chief Fellow as well as Interventional Chief Fellow. Nick Stella, M.D., is has been married for 17 years and a father.

Nick Stella’s political philosophy is to change the current “politics as usual” arena to an “alternative to politics as usual” arena. An excellent outcome is the motivation behind everything that Nick Stella has set out to achieve in medicine and now sets out to achieve in his political career as well. Nick, as a practicing cardiologist has always upheld the oath of ‘nil nocere’ (do no harm), will continue adhering to that ethical standard as well as abiding to the articles and adherents of the Illinois Republican party’s platform as a congressman. Nick Stella for Congress is seeking the Republican primary victory to challenge the incumbent Bill Foster (D), in the 11th Congressional District.
