Priscila is the Long Island editor at Patch, covering the Town of Islip, Town of Babylon and Patchogue. She grew up in Nassau County, Long Island, living in East Rockaway for many years before moving to Bellmore. She then made the move to Suffolk County while attending Stony Brook University where she received her bachelor's degree in Journalism before returning home to the South Shore. Before joining Patch she interned at Newsday and wrote for the Stony Brook Press as well as her school paper at Mepham High School.

The man painted the word "VANISH" at a strip mall on Sunrise Highway last month.
