The Prom Shoppe is located in downtown Oswego (in the same building as American Male- next door to The Village Grind). We have the largest selection of Prom, Homecoming, and Junior’s Formal Dresses in the Area! The Prom Shoppe opened in 2001 as an off-shoot of the renowned Jacqueline Dresses, one of the most prestigious Women’s Formal Wear store’s in the suburbs! The Prom Shoppe department exploded from a tiny seasonal section of the store to a year round department of American Male and Co.

The Prom Shoppe has one goal- to make shopping for your special occasion or dance as easy as possible by providing a large inventory selection and everything to go with your perfect dress- shoes, jewelry, handbags etc! The Prom Shoppe takes over two levels of the store to accommodate our continuously growing inventory. We have jam packed rooms of Prom Heaven- where you can touch, feel, and select your own dresses right from the sales floor!

Our fresh young Prom Coordinators have all the knowledge of trends, fit, and styles and have selected only the hottest, trendiest dresses and designers in the market! From attending Markets in Chicago and Atlanta to taking yearly trips to Los Angeles- we bring the best of the best in Junior’s Formal Wear to our store!

Most importantly, we offer our Prom Promise- We will NOT sell the same dress in the same color to anyone attending your event! We are now tracking for ALL school dances, pageants, and events! With our computer tracking system, we track every dress by event to ensure that no one at your dance, party, etc. has your dress!
