I've served the Greater Taunton Jewish Community for 12 years. I'll be posting things about our "Family of Friends" - Congregation Agudath Achim and the Jewish Community House - where we welcome Jewish individuals, Jewish families, interfaith families, and others exploring Jewish life and practice. We strive to maximize opportunities for all to participate in Jewish communal life, continually working towards being a sacred community – a Kehilla K’dosha. We work together to fulfill our mission by engaging the centuries-old vast Jewish moral, spiritual and philosophical tradition so that together or apart - in our daily lives at home, at school, at work and in the world, we can do Gemilut Chasadim – acts of loving kindness, and giving - Tzedakah – the righteous support of our neighbors near and far, including K’lal Yisrael, Jews around the world and especially in Israel.
