RCS provides a variety of services to schools, agencies, families, and children, ages 0 – 22 years of age. Applied Behavior Analysis is the main treatment methodology utilized with an emphasis on the Verbal Behavior Model for teaching communication and language skills. Direct Instruction occurs by well-trained behavior therapists, overseen and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and our Clinical Team. All programming is individually designed to meet the child’s needs and learning style. A variety of assessments are used to develop appropriate goals and objectives for students including, the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP, Sundberg) and the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills Revised (The ABLLS-R, Partington). RCS also completes thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to decrease inappropriate behaviors that impede learning, while increasing appropriate behaviors. Through data collection and ongoing data analysis, teaching procedures are continuously refined to ensure the child is making maximum progress.
