Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church

ATLANTA, GA — The Re-Church Project, in partnership with Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, invites the Atlanta community to attend a special Prayer Service for Venezuela: “Hope in the Midst of Suffering” on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The gathering will take place at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, 2715 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305, and will bring together Venezuelans, community members, and people of different faith backgrounds for a time of prayer, reflection, compassion, and solidarity.
The service seeks to create a space where participants can pray for Venezuela, remember families experiencing hardship, and offer support and encouragement during a season of significant challenges and uncertainty.
“Hope in the Midst of Suffering” reflects the belief that communities can come together during difficult moments to offer compassion, presence, and solidarity. Through prayer and shared reflection, the event will highlight the experiences of Venezuelans while inviting everyone to participate in a message of unity and hope.
