I’m a piano teacher and have a few openings for new students (ages 5-adult) on Wednesdays and Thursdays at my home studio in NW Berkeley.

I have 20+ years of teaching experience, and am also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) via the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), as well as being a composer, performer, collaborative pianist, and creative coach.

I take a nurturing approach which includes a mix of learning to read music, ear training, improvising, and composition, but most importantly, helping students love music!
