Can add a cajon ( drum box ) player for acoustic gigs that can benefit from a little snappy rhythm. Play Beatles, Crosby Stills and Nash, Mamas and Papas, and other great songs from the 60s thru the 90s that our fans love.

West Coast Sidecar is an electric 4 piece band fom Oakland. We play rock, blues, country and ska!. Yeh we do. Our music is a groovy mix of old and new. Many of our cover tunes will be familiar, but some will NOT. We play tunes from 1934 to the present.

Scotty Donaldson and Dave Seabury are long time veterans of the Berkeley music scene dating back to the 1960s, and have played with countless local bands over the years, including The Haymarket Riot, The Psycotic Pineapple, Stevie Bee and The Hornets, Little Roger &amp; The Goosebumps, The Chuckleberries, The Blue Alley Cats… The list goes on and on! At the outset of the pandemic they were looking for some “low exposure” ways to get together and make music. Scotty suggested we put together a set of our fave Everly Brothers tunes, and voila: The Neverly Brothers! Captain D and the Scallywags are a fun and raucous bunch, bringing audiences a new slant on the traditional seafaring themed songs of long ago. Their lively, positive, good vibes infect audience members to not only dance but to sing along in unison. Guitar, ukuleles, mandolin, tin whistles, bass and drum are usually on board, giving crowds a fresh sound as their maritime-themed lyrics speak to the people of today. Oakland’s longest running Youth Circus returns with its FREE summer shows!
Join the young stars of Prescott Circus as they share their joys and talents through stilt dancing, tumbling, juggling, and more. Oakland youth inspire young and young at heart through a one-hour show that demonstrates teamwork, pride, and joy. This show is performed by OUSD students ages 8 - 17 from over 10 different OUSD schools who have been training and creating since the beginning of June.&nbsp;&nbsp;

1651 Adeline St., Oakland, 94607ABOUT PRESCOTT CIRCUS THEATRE: Now in its 41st year, the Prescott Circus Theatre (PCT) is a nationally recognized performing arts education program for Oakland youth. PCT offers safe environments that challenge Oakland youth, through circus arts training, to develop the skills and confidence to thrive on stage, in school, and in life. This is accomplished through no-cost school and community programs for over 300 Oakland youth each year. Performing Company members from Prescott, where the program began, perform and make appearances at as many as 40 Bay Area events each year. The summer program is funded, in part, by Oakland Fund for Children and Youth, California Arts Council, Port of Oakland, and the West Davis and Bergard Foundation.&nbsp;
