A timeless story. An iconic rock score. Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar brings a timeless story to life with a legendary 1970s rock score, unforgettable characters and a provocative look at the final week of Jesus’ life.

What’s the buzz? The first musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber to be produced for the professional stage, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 50 years. A timeless work, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.
The iconic 1970s rock score contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.” A true global phenomenon, Superstar continues to touch new generations of audiences and performers.
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Lyrics by Tim Rice
Dana Iannuzzi, director Louis F. Goldberg, music director Megan Mazarick, choreographer

A notorious bandit. A rebellious bride. A corrupt police chief. Welcome to The Threepenny Opera.

It’s a wedding, but there are no vows. It’s a love story, but everyone has an ulterior motive. And when Mack the Knife runs afoul of the law, nearly everyone in Soho has a reason to turn him in.
Set in London on the eve of Queen Victoria’s coronation, The Threepenny Opera follows notorious bandit Macheath as he navigates a dangerous web of love, betrayal, bribery and corruption. From his secret marriage to Polly Peachum to his encounters with old friends, former lovers and the police, Mack’s world quickly unravels. Featuring the unforgettable “Ballad of Mack the Knife,” The Threepenny Opera is a darkly comic work that offers a look at a society where survival often comes down to knowing the right person, paying the right price, or staying one step ahead.
