My mother always said "bigger kids bigger problems." At least the bigger problems don't come rapid fire, one after another, like when they were really little and you'd go five days with collectively 10 hours worth of sleep.

Nothing and everything prepared me to be a father. I have run my own windsurfing school and web development company, worked as a waiter and a technology consultant, none of which seem to have anything to do with the BA in English I received from Cornell University, or the MFA in Creative Writing I earned at Emerson College in Boston.

Looking back, however, they all seem to have coalesced as being important benefits to where I am today: a stay-at-home dad making money from writing for myself and producing training videos for others.
