Outpost in the Burbs proudly presents Joan Osborne in concert.&nbsp;In 2017, Grammy-nominated artist Joan Osborne released the critically acclaimed album, Songs of Bob Dylan. Her artistic and soulful reinterpretations of the selection of Dylan songs was an eye-opening moment in an already celebrated career. 
Eight years after milestone recording, Osborne released the stunning Dylanology Live on April 25th, 2025. The captivating recording finds the gifted vocalist performing in front of a live audience, with special guests Amy Helm, Robert Randolph and Jackie Greene. Songs include “Spanish Harlem Incident”, “Buckets Of Rain” “Masters Of War”, “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” and “High Water (For Charley Patton)”. 
Throughout her three-decade, multi-Grammy nominated career, Joan Osborne has never been an artist confined to one space as she continues to seamlessly blend into any genre. Her&nbsp;incredible and distinctive voice always shines through her own songs, while she has also become one of her generation’s finest interpreters. Dylanology Live is yet another testament to her artistic range.

Grammy nominee Shannon McNally’s live music career began on the jam band circuit of the 1990s with bands like Derek Trucks and Railroad Earth. Since then, her catalog has grown to span the whole of the Americana music spectrum, both writing original songs as well as interpreting the songs of others. She brings a soul-stirring musicality to her craft. Her honest and, at times, elegant voice immediately grabs one by the heartstrings. Not to mention as it turns out, she is also an exceptional electric guitar player.
McNally has fourteen albums to her name and a string of single self-releases on her personal label, Queen Maeve Records. Her latest album, “Live At Dee’s,” is a career retrospective song list captured over four nights in September of 2022 with a revolving band of Nashville musicians. Showcasing McNally’s wonderful storytelling and sense of wry humor, the 18-song disc captures her at her most relaxed in her natural habitat of neighborhood Honky Tonk.&nbsp;
For those who have followed McNally’s twenty-plus-year career, the thing that sticks with listeners the most about her is the timeless effortlessness she brings to all she does. With an impressive catalog and extensive list of collaborators with whom she has written, recorded, and toured; McNally continues to turn out great music across wide-flung ends of the spectrum, defying genre-fication. At home on any stage, from Lincoln Center to the juke joints of Mississippi—she always brings the house down. And on June 7th she brings her music to Montclair at the beautiful Van Vleck House &amp;&nbsp;Gardens for an outdoor performance

Two Theaters. 20+ Films. One Day Experience.
The 2nd Annual Boricua Film Festival returns on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Williams Center in Rutherford, NJ. Come spend the day with Puerto Rican films, live performance, poetry, music, conversation, and community in one in-person festival experience.
Presented by the Boricua Community Building Center in collaboration with ADoCPR’s Cinema on the Road, this year’s festival brings 15 short and medium-length films across two theaters.
This year we are proud to feature Cortaditos, an award winning six-film Puerto Rican short film block presented through our new collaboration with the Puerto Rico European Film Festival and Alliance Française de Puerto Rico.
Audiences will experience films including Golpe de Agua, Mulata, Chimenea de muerte, De tribus y máscaras, El Arresto, El Pueblo de Coral, and A Tale of Two Cities: Reclaiming Niagara Falls and Salinas.
The Cortaditos six film selection includes award winning short films Ketchup, PUM!, Lo Que Quedó, Engreída, Recao, and Moriviví.
The day includes a film panel Q&amp;A and audience discussion with filmmakers, authors, educators, activists, and community leaders whose work connects directly to the stories on screen. Featured guest speakers include Inés Mongil, Samantha J. Garcia-Sherpa, Andre Lee Muñiz, Gualterio Alomar, and Daliana Alvarado.
Live performances includes a free Bomba y Plena workshop and live performance by Cimarrones de Nueva Jersey, Folkloric Salsa by Spirit in Motion 3.0, poetry by Nelly Nel and Johnathan Garcia, and additional community artists. The films open the door, and the performances and conversations carry the experience beyond the screen.
The festival also welcomes nonprofit partners El Comedor del Kennedy and MiPatriaPR, who will join us in sharing community resources, cultural work, and ways to stay connected to Puerto Rico and the diaspora.
Community passes includes access to screenings, panels, Q&amp;As, performances, and full-day festival access.
