Local Residents: Help Save the Trees at Lantern Bay Park!
Please join us at the Dana Point City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 17, when the City will vote on whether to protect the trees at Lantern Bay Park or move forward with Marriott’s proposal to remove 70 trees.Note: this was taken off the Oct. 20 agenda as the City Council is now trying to work a plan to save the trees. But we still need you to show up on November 17th to ensure the vote goes in favor of saving the trees.
These trees are part of what makes our community special, providing shade, beauty, habitat for wildlife, and environmental benefits we cannot easily replace. Our voices matter. Please attend the meeting, show your support for preserving these trees, and urge City Council to choose a path that protects our park and its natural beauty for future generations.
Let’s stand together to save our trees!
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors.
Wear Green!
