Robert Dell, Neighbor

    Robert Dell is a life-long Orangetown resident. He and his wife, Siena Porta, are home owners in Tappan for the last 25 years and have three sons.     

       Robert Dell has a 30 year history of working to protect our community and the environment as a land use official on Orangetown’s  Planning Board Member for the last 10 years and Chairman from 2007-9. He previously served  and on the  Architecture and Community Appearance Board of Review as  Member for 22 years and Vice Chairman for 15 years.

       He is a research laboratory director and a professor in green engineering research at the Cooper Union in NYC, and was formally a lecturer at Dominican College .

       Robert Dell is also known for working for veterans’ causes including the Walkway of American Heroes at Camp Shanks Memorial Park as project manager, designer, and Liaison for VFW Post 1615 and the Rockland County Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

       Robert Dell is a Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Municipal Planning Federation of Rockland County.
