Dr. Funk has been a dentist in Royersford since 1985, his father started the practice in 1950 and the office remains in the same location at 20 N 4 Ave. Dr. Funk strives to maintain a personal and intimate atmosphere in his office by trying to treat each patient as a friend or family member, his staff is cheerful, lighthearted, eager to help and answer any question, or solve any problem. Most of Dr. Funks staff has been with him for more than 5 years so there is always a familiar face.

Dr. Funk has worked hard at maintaining his education and has accumulated over 500 hours of continuing education and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, along with this education comes a knowledge of the latest techniques and instruments and Dr. Funk has kept abreast of the advances in dentistry. He has incorporated digital radiography, intra oral photography, CEREC crowns (crowns in two hours), Diagnodent laser detection, chemotherapuetic caries prevention, TMJ joint vibration analysis, sleep apnea treatment and detection, are among the many advances.

Dr. Funk has the abilty to provide orthodontics, endodontics (root canal), cosmetic bonding, implant restorations, dentures, whitening, periodontics, veneers, crowns, so many times there is no need to go to other specialists. He also treats children and the ederly.
