Robert Shapiro is the Libertarian Candidate for Congress in NJ CD 1.  Dr. Shapiro holds a Ph.D. in American history from Harvard University and a J.D. from the Stanford Law School. He has taught history at Harvard, Tufts, and the University of Hartford before he went to the Stanford Law School for his law degree. Dr. Shapiro is a litigator licensed to practice law in NJ, NY, PA, and CA and has practiced law in all of those jurisdictions.

The Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Burlington County will be giving 3 presentations on Saturday, May 9 at the opening of the Burlington County Farmers Market at the Burlington County Agricultural Center located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown NJ.
The presentations are:
9:30 am - 10:15 am - The Basic Care and Growing of Fig Trees (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee is required).
10:30 am to 11:15 am - Composting (no registration or fee).
11:30 am - 12:15 pm - The Basic Care and Growing of Hydrangeas (Seating is limited, registration &amp; $15.00 fee required).
All three presentations are near or at the Rutgers Demonstration plots (to the right of the Big Red Barn, next to the Community Gardens).
