Gigi is a musical adaptation of Colette’s classic story about a young girl in turn-of-the-century Paris, raised to become a courtesan in high society but longing instead for love and marriage. Gaston, a Parisian playboy, shares a carefree, platonic friendship with Gigi—but when their relationship begins to change, they must both confront whether something lasting and real could be possible between them. The film was nominated for nine Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Musical Score, and won all nine, a record at the time. Directed by Vincente Minnelli, the film starred Leslie Caron, Maurice Chevalier, and Louis Jourdan, with songs by Lerner and Loewe.&nbsp;

Family-Friendly Afternoon of Horses, Pony Rides, Demonstrations, Tours, and More
Looking for a memorable way to celebrate Father’s Day Weekend? Join Stony Hill Stables and the Stony Hill Stables Foundation for a special Open House on Sunday, June 21, from 1:00–4:00 PM, welcoming families, horse lovers, former riders, and community members for an afternoon of equestrian fun and discovery.
Set on the beautiful grounds of Stony Hill Stables in Amagansett, this free community event offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore one of the East End’s premier equestrian facilities, meet trainers and riders, learn about the Stony Hill Foundation’s mission, and enjoy a variety of activities for all ages.
Guests can enjoy:

The Open House is designed to celebrate Stony Hill’s rich history while introducing visitors to the programs and opportunities available through both the stables and the Foundation.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for families to spend Father’s Day together, experience the joy of horses, and connect with the Stony Hill community,” said organizers. “Whether you are a longtime rider, a former student, or simply curious about the equestrian world, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Founded as a center for excellence in horsemanship and rider education, Stony Hill Stables has been a cherished part of the East End community for generations. The Stony Hill Foundation works to expand access to equestrian experiences through educational programs, scholarships, and community outreach initiatives.

The 5th Annual Springs Garden Party returns on Saturday, July 11, for an elegant summer evening benefiting the Springs Food Pantry. Held in the beautiful gardens of hosts Greg McCarthy and Peter Bickford, guests will enjoy cocktails, seasonal hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a lively auction and raffle—all in support of nearly 400 local families served each week by the Pantry. This year’s event will also celebrate the Pantry’s farming partners: Amber Waves, Balsam Farms, Quail Hill Farm, and Share the Harvest Farm.
