It’s one of those nights that people talk about long after it’s over. There’s plenty of parking, all are welcome, and it’s all for a good cause. The Glen Cove Parade Committee — the same group that brings you our annual St. Patrick’s Parade — also gives back to local charities throughout the year. Following the <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/glencove/calendar/event/20260704/0d505e6d-2574-4b40-a279-ff286578389f/july-4th-childrens-bike-parade-in-glen-cove">Children's Bike Parade</a>, the City will hold a Gazebo Dedication Ceremony at Pratt Park at 11 a.m., to honor Glen Cove's first responders.This includes the&nbsp;Glen Cove Police Department, Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department, Glen Cove EMS, Glen Cove Harbor Patrol, and the Glen Cove Auxiliary Police. The gazebo, donated by the Glen Cove Beautification Litter Prevention Program, Inc., stands as a tribute to the dedication and service of those who protect the community.
