Rowena Penalba, Neighbor

As a self-taught author and content writer for over twenty years, my writing has evolved from an academic and business style to a more casual and conversational tone. At this stage, I aim to explore writing stories about people, places, businesses, institutions, concepts, ideas, and my favorite topics--entrepreneurship and business management. I have written feature and news articles, press releases, columns, and advertorials for a local community newspaper in the past. My published books on self-help, personal development, spirituality, and biblical viewpoints can be found on Amazon.com.

I am also an information systems professional with over twenty years of experience in management, information systems infrastructure, and strategy, particularly in retail, manufacturing, electric utility, financial services, and academic environments. I am passionate about improving management reporting, operational support, process workflows, and resource allocation within an organization.

I am currently focused on providing bookkeeping services to small businesses because it helps build a complete and accurate database, which can lead to a more effective information system and a more efficient execution of business strategy and operations. A company’s daily financial transactions are the building blocks of a robust information infrastructure that facilitates more intelligent decision-making.
