My roots started in the urban soil of the South Bronx, where I learned to cook at my grandfather’s restaurant. He taught me how to "prep it, cook it and serve it." I continued my culinary training at the NYC public library. Classes were held once a week at Graham Kerr’s, The Galloping Gourmet; the original Food TV Network. Later, I became a personal chef for two children and a husband. We ate, drank and we were merry. Love on the rocks was no big surprise. I moonlighted for 15 years as a food entertainer serving up plant based exotic dishes for LA celebrities, non-profit organizations and community events. Today, I’m residing in the low Country cooking up healthy, exciting dishes with my feet firmly planted in the pluff mud.
