Chef Sadie Laurenti Whitley made a career change from healthcare to culinary in 2008, after an epiphany she experienced while traveling in Italy and she has not turned back since.  “Who says you cannot start a new career after 40?” 

Chef Sadie is an honors graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, focusing her studies on French Traditional Culinary techniques, but her passion also is in Italian, Southwestern and Mexican cuisine.  She is the chef owner of “La Cucina Laurenti”, which is an in-home personal chef business in the Greater Seattle location. Chef Sadie mostly services her in-home cooking services for her clients on the Eastside.

Sadie is a consummate professional with a passion for creating delicious and healthy meals using fresh, organic and mostly local ingredients; and with this approach has expanded her business exponentially.  Chef Sadie encourages all her clients to think “local and sustainable” and will frequently purchase from the local Farmer’s Markets.

Another passion of Chef Sadie’s is traveling; she has had many opportunities to visit many cities abroad and in the U.S.A., that has inspired her cooking styles.  Variety in cuisine is definitely the spice of life!   She enjoys teaching, writing new recipes and sharing it with her friends and family.  Chef Sadie’s motto is “Life is definitely Good in the Kitchen.”
