A life long resident of East Islip, I started of my years in JFK; graduating from East Islip High School in 1998. I met my husband in Ireland while I was visiting family that summer. Needless to say it's been a whirlwind since!

We started Shandon Court in 2003 and have recently changed our focus to our contracting company; Keenan Custom Homes. We have 5 children under the age of 9 even though we were forced to say goodbye to one or our precious daughters in 2014.

I went to the University at Albany and studied politics, management and planning, I then began working in the Town of Islip's Supervisor's office for many years; navigating complicated issues that required me to be an intergovernmental liaison. I received my MBA from Dowling College and my advanced Constitutional Paralegal, as well as, Project Management Certification from Binghamton University. My favorite way to apply my skills these days is to write, assist new businesses starting from the incorporation phase right through ribbon cutting. Or consult for a business that has started with a great concept just needs an objective professional eye to guide the owner from mistakes.
