This free, family-friendly event features more than 100 artists, makers, and artisan exhibitors, Live Music on 2 Stages, delicious local food vendors, garden specialists, a Children's Corner with jump houses, face painting, and free hands-on crafts, plus tastings of local wine, craft beer, cider, and handcrafted cocktails.

Oakland’s longest running Youth Circus returns with its FREE summer shows!
Join the young stars of Prescott Circus as they share their joys and talents through stilt dancing, tumbling, juggling, and more. Oakland youth inspire young and young at heart through a one-hour show that demonstrates teamwork, pride, and joy. This show is performed by OUSD students ages 8 - 17 from over 10 different OUSD schools who have been training and creating since the beginning of June.&nbsp;&nbsp;

PCT offers safe environments that challenge Oakland youth, through circus arts training, to develop the skills and confidence to thrive on stage, in school, and in life. This is accomplished through no-cost school and community programs for over 300 Oakland youth each year. Performing Company members from Prescott, where the program began, perform and make appearances at as many as 40 Bay Area events each year. The summer program is funded, in part, by Oakland Fund for Children and Youth, California Arts Council, Port of Oakland, and the West Davis and Bergard Foundation.&nbsp;

Guided by your hosts,&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://grantfaulkner.com/" rel="nofollow noopener">Grant Faulkner</a>&nbsp;(The Art of Brevity) and&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.elizabethrosner.com/index.html" rel="nofollow noopener">Elizabeth Rosner</a>&nbsp;(Third Ear), you’ll embark on an adventurous and playful experience tasting a curated series of&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://saintsbury.com/" rel="nofollow noopener">Saintsbury</a>&nbsp;wines, along with prompts to inspire writing your own 100-word descriptions—or stories, rather, because every sip of wine holds a story. Or a poem.
