Are you curious about bird watching, but don’t know the first thing about how to do it? Or have you ever been on a birding field trip and said to yourself “this stuff is for the birds,” meaning I’m not seeing what everybody else is seeing! Or maybe you’re thinking “I can’t see anything through these binoculars,” etc.
Well, now you can join Tom Damiani on “small group” field trips with a focus on effectively using binoculars, finding birds using them, and finding the best habitats for birds. 
These outings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month, at Wolf Preserve from 8 - 10am.

Inlet Pond County Park

Now is our third year, this ever-evolving event continues to bring together nature, artists, and music in new and creative ways each year. This year we have an immersive outdoor experience. Visitors can explore a series of sculptures inspired by birds, wildlife, and the natural world while enjoying live music and beauty of the surrounding landscape at Inlet Pond County Park. The sculptures will be up from July 18th - October 11th with an opening reception on July 18th from 10-12pm.Participating Artists: Bill Albertini, Sherry Davis, Nathan Joseph, Scott McIntire, Arden Scott, Jay Sylvester, Ted Thirlby, John Warner, John Wittenberg

Established in 1936, originally known as the “Southold Choral Society,” today’s chorale has members from all over the North Fork. The 2026 membership, over 20 strong, represents a broad age range and blends decades of experience with fresh ideas to create a vibrant musical atmosphere. They are actively seeking new members to continue this wonderful tradition. All singers at varying levels of experience are welcome.
