2026 Fall Native Plant Sale will be held in person on Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20, from 9 am to 1 pm with no pre-ordering necessary. 
We will have many species of plants native to the Northeastern United States and locally grown by Glover Perennials-many of which are drought tolerant and deer resistant. These will be showcased outdoors at the Roy Latham Nature Center at Inlet Pond County Park.
 Cash, checks, credit cards, Venmo &amp; PayPal will be accepted.

Celebrate surf culture, community, and ocean conservation at Surfrider Foundation Eastern Long Island&nbsp;Chapter's Annual <a href="https://onecau.se/surfmovienight2026" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Surf Movie Night</a>!
Join us on Friday, September 18 at the beautiful Southampton Arts Center for an unforgettable evening featuring inspiring surf films under the stars, live music, local food and drinks, a community raffle, exclusive merchandise, and more. Whether you're a lifelong surfer or simply love the ocean, Surf Movie Night brings together people who care about protecting our beaches and waterways while celebrating the spirit of the surf community.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, giving guests time to enjoy vendors, food, drinks, and activities before our curated lineup of surf and ocean films begins at dusk.
Proceeds from the event directly support the Surfrider Foundation Eastern Long Island Chapter's work to protect clean water, healthy beaches, and resilient coastlines across Eastern Long Island through advocacy, education, and community action.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and join us for one of the East End's favorite annual traditions. We can't wait to see you there!

The Jay Heritage Center (JHC) is proud to welcome educators and the general public to our site during September 2026, Constitution Month, to commemorate our nation’s journey towards independence and democracy. The free program is co-sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Social Studies Council. The event will be the first of many lively conversation about America at 250 with some of our country’s leading history scholars. It is open to teachers throughout the Mid Hudson and Sound Shore communities as well as Fairfield County.
Professors David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman and Beverly Gage will take the stage at the new Wachenheim Center to examine the history of the nation-state and the contested nature of American national identity. The panel will discuss what the United States and the Constitution have meant to citizens over time and how that vision has changed or stayed constant. &nbsp;The event is FREE but registration is required.
