Shoes Policy: Please, have an extra pair of any regular shoes not worn outside (or clean the shoes sole at home), indoors-only sneakers or dance shoes and change them before entering the dance floor. Sorry, no lady's spike or stilletto heels will be allowed in order to protect the wood dance floor.
Location: Ballroom Elegance Dance Studio is located at 877 Post Road, Westport, CT 06880, second level, right next to the Sherwood Diner. Use the ramp on the right hand side of the building to the second level. There is ample free parking in the lot right outside the studio.

Long Island Sound

The 44th Annual WICC Surfside Hotel <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth</a> returns to Long Island Sound on Saturday, August 29, with fishing officially beginning at 12:01 a.m. Anglers from Connecticut and New York will compete for bragging rights—and a $25,000 grand prize awarded to the tournament's largest bluefish.
The weekend-long tournament features more than $40,000 in total cash prizes, including:
<ul>
 <li>1st Place: $25,000</li>
 <li>2nd Place: $7,500</li>
 <li>3rd Place: $2,500</li>
 <li>Smaller cash prizes awarded through 20th Place</li>
 <li>Port Prizes awarded for the heaviest bluefish weighed at each official Connecticut and New York weigh station (see below for complete list of weigh stations)</li>
</ul>
Young anglers, 17 and under, will also have the chance to win big. The tournament will award a $1,000 cash prize to the largest bluefish caught by a youth angler. Second and third place youth winners will receive $100 gift cards.
Anglers may register online at <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.bluefishtournament.com</a>&nbsp;or in person at any official tournament registration location throughout Connecticut and New York/Long Island.

Throughout the tournament weekend, WICC, 99.1 PLR, STAR 99.9, and WEBE108 will provide hourly leaderboard updates and tournament results.

Connecticut Ballet Center

September 14th will bring the start of formal dance training for young dancers ages 3 &amp; up! Connecticut Ballet Center, official school of Connecticut Ballet, has openings Creative Movement &amp; Pre-Ballet for three and four-year-old girls &amp; a new Boys Ballet Class for our Saturday class program. The new class is open to boys ages 5-8 who would enjoy dancing alongside other boys &amp; with a male instructor. Connecticut Ballet Center is celebrating its 30th year of high-quality recreational and pre-professional training for aspiring dancers. Young Arts in the Studio, ages 6-8, with Olga Klymyk meets on Saturdays from 10:30 am &ndash; 12:00 pm. Her Drawing and Painting for the Junior Artist class, ages 9-12, meets from 12:30 pm &ndash; 2:00 pm.
