This sale has more collectibles and rarities&nbsp;than we have ever seen assembled in one estate in over fifty-five years of buying and selling antiques and conducting estate auctions.&nbsp;We are still counting items and making groups and box lots, so the final information will not be available for another week, but will be posted on our website by&nbsp;September 18th.

WOODBURY, CT — Trees to Please, in partnership with Flanders Nature Center &amp; Land Trust, will present “Rooted in Woodbury: Understanding, Protecting, and Caring for Our Trees” on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sugar House at Flanders Nature Center. Located at 48 Church Hill Road, Woodbury, CT 06798
The complimentary 90-minute community program will bring together local and state tree experts to explore Connecticut's trees, their benefits, threats, and practical steps residents can take to help them thrive.
Topics will include common native trees, tree health, invasive species, disease and climate-related stress, the importance of trees to people, wildlife and watersheds, and how to properly choose, plant and care for young trees.
The program will feature Hailey Horan, Educator with Flanders Nature Center &amp; Land Trust; Bud Neal, Woodbury Tree Warden and owner of Neal Tree Service; Les Welker, Urban Forestry Partnership Coordinator with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection; and Jack Hatajik of The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.&nbsp;The will be a tree planting demo following the program.

Region 15 Schools is excited to invite the community to STEM-A-Palooza, a FREE day of hands-on exploration, activities and demonstrations designed for curious minds of all ages.&nbsp;The event is open to everyone - you do not need to be a Region 15 family to attend.
From robotics, engineering and aviation to energy, animals, environmental science, health sciences and more, STEM-A-Palooza will bring science, technology, engineering and math to life at Pomperaug High School.
Visitors can explore at their own pace, try something new, ask questions and discover STEM in action.
