St Pats Parade SD, Neighbor

The San Diego St. Patrick's Day parade and festival has been produced since 1981 by the Irish Congress of Southern California (a 501 c-3). It is held at west Balboa Park at 6th and Laurel. The event takes place on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day (March 17) and is held rain or shine.

The parade starts at 10:30 at 5th and Kalmia and goes north to Upas, east to 6th, south to Laurel.

The festival is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is fun for the family. Enjoy Irish dance on the Ashleigh Roach stage before the parade, the kids zone, food, vendors, information booths, Irish music on two festival stages.

Entry: under 21 and active military with i.d. - Free. Over 21, low $10 per person (no refunds). Get tickets on the website.
