Stevens Home, Neighbor

Steven's Home, is a non-grant funded 501c3 Il Charitable Organization is faith based and provides homeless street outreach across McHenry County. We bring community awareness and advocate for community safety in dealing homeless camps and individuals.

We have delivered over 4800 chef prepared meals to those living outside, alongside several areas of services including: Immediate basic needs, free Notary services, Emergency Hotel Shelter, transportation and connection to service providers as well as appointment and paperwork navigation.

We collaborate with unlimited area agencies that provide specific areas of help. We assist hospital and jail social workers, the 22nd Judicial Court Specialty Courts when there is a client who is or will be homeless in the court system. On occasion, will have provided court appearance support to our unhoused friends.

We advocate for the awareness of the Illinois Bill of Rights for the Homeless Act (775ILCS45)
